Call To Caucus Don’t Miss Your Chance To Help Set The RPDC Agenda The RPDC holds many great events each year, where we all get a chance to hear from powerful speakers while spending time with great friends. But perhaps no event is more important than the annual County Caucus, where the agenda for the next two years is set. Every elected seat on the RPDC Executive Committee is up for election, including Chair, Vice Chair and all of the Assembly District Chairs. You will get a chance to hear from the candidates to get their vision of the future of the party. Each seat is held for two year terms, and will not be up for election again until the 2011 County Caucus. It is always important to have the right leadership in place, but these elections may never be as important as they are this year. We have a number of essential elections coming up in April, including the Dane County Executive election, and a Wisconsin State Supreme Court election. And coming up in 2010 we have a Gubernatorial and Senate election, as well as the chance to win back both houses of the state legislature. And perhaps even more important is the fact that we have to set a positive tone for the Republican Party in Dane County. We have been losing ground for years, and the turnaround is going to begin this year. This is why it’s so utterly essential to have as many RPDC members at the caucus as possible. And remember, you must be a member of RPDC before the caucus to vote at the caucus. Please go to http://danegop.org/ to sign up with the party. The location is City Center West, Johnson Building, at 525 Junction Road. Please enter from the parking road. And remember again to please be sure to be a paying member of RPDC before showing up at the caucus.
