Mitt Romney Wins Republican Party of Dane County Straw Poll

With the Republican Party primaries heating up, the Republican Party of Dane County membership has weighed in with their opinions. The Wisconsin primary may not be for a few months, but Dane County still wishes to be heard. The results of a straw poll conducted among our membership are as follows:

38% Romney
20% Santorum
19% Gingrich
11% Paul
7% Perry

The RPDC does not, by rule, endorse in Republican Party primaries. We are working to defeat Barack Obama, regardless of the nominee. We expect that our membership feels the same way. We know how to have lively primaries and intra-party debates while still focusing on the more important task at hand.

The RPDC knows that every single Republican running for President would be a much better leader for this nation than President Downgrade. We look forward to fighting for victory in 2012.

The straw poll was conducted through an online survey to RPDC members. If you didn't receive that e-mail then please e-mail us at hq@danegop.org or call the office to make sure we have a current e-mail for you.
