Democrat Party Gubernatorial nominee-to-be Kathleen Falk has been under conservative fire recently for signing a pledge that, as Governor, she will veto any budget that doesn't return complete control of Wisconsin's schools to labor unions. The Republican Party of Dane County is outraged by this criticism of Ms. Falk and her union fealty.

Conservative attacks, particularly those launched by Republicans, have been blatantly hypocritical. For example, WEAC created a health insurance company called WEA Trust, then forced Wisconsin schools to use it and pay additional costs of tens of millions of dollars statewide each year without raising service levels. Aren't Republicans supposed to support entrepreneurship and profits?

The real question is why WEAC hasn't branched into additional sectors. Maybe they could open up a food catering...
