Becoming a Candidate

vote-for-me.gifWhether you're looking to learn more about our candidates or interested in perhaps becoming a candidate yourself, you've come to the right place!

The Republican Party of Dane County works with candidates on a variety of levels - townships, villages, cities, county, and state.  Expressing interest doesn't commit you to run but if you are interested, please let us know!

We're happy to sit down with you and lay out what is involved in running for office.  We can also help connect you to candidate training and other resources for a successful campaign.

I am running against Joe Parisi for Dane County Executive and would like to have the support of the Republican Party of Dane County. My platforms align with the views of the Republican Party even through I’m running as an independent in this non-partisan race. I would like to speak with someone to see how we could work together to change Dane County. Website –

YES! Dave Redick for U.S. Congress in 2018, WI- Dis-2. Supports; Limitedgovernment, comply with the Constitution, no wars for Empire-USA, and sound money (gold coins per Constitution), private mints, and no Fed. End funding of wars, welfare and corruption with fiat paper money (not redeemable for gold by – FDR in 1933 -, or gold and silver, by Nixon – in 1971).

See my site at, my books on, and my 1984 support letter from Reagan.
Thanks for your support to help ‘Make America Great Again’.

    Let’s get started !! Dave

Yes, for US Congress in WI Dis-2 for the 2018 cycle. My thinking is Constitutional-Conservative. Key issues are; (1) end Empire-USA (which ends invasions that create refugees and terrorists), 2) convert to gold-as-money with weight of 24ct as the ‘unit of account’ for coins and prices; notes are OK if redeemable by any bearer on demand, 3) end the Fed, and 4) control immigration so they apply, then follow our rules, learn English, and ‘assimilate’, with no benefits (health, edu, food, Soc. Sec., etc.) for one year after entry. See my site My book (6×9 paperback, 186 pages), ‘Redick for Congress in 2018’ will be on in a few days. It is already posted at Part 1 in the left margin of my site shown above. Seven others are already on Amazon.

I would like to meet with you.

    Regards, Dave
