We're heading west for our next Pints and Politics to the Coach's Club in Cross Plains. This will be our second meeting at Coach's. We have two speakers. Representative Barbara Dittrich, who was elected for her first term in the legislature last fall and Judge Paul Bugenhagen who will run against Judge Lisa Nuebaurer for the District 2 Court of Appeals. Lisa Neubauer was recently defeated by Judge Brian Hagedorn in the race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
serves on the Waukesha County Circuit Court and is a conservative candidate for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II. The seat is currently held by liberal judge Lisa Neubauer, who was recently defeated by Judge Brian Hagedorn in the race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Paul Bugenhagen Jr., was first elected to the Waukesha County Circuit Court in 2015, and currently presides over the family and probate divisions of the court. In 2018, Judge Bugenhagen was named head of the family court division in 2018. Prior to being elected judge, he was a bilingual attorney in a general litigation practice.
Judge Bugenhagen believes that judges should be servant leaders on the bench, and active participants in the community they represent. He will talk about the importance of a conservative judicial philosophy in Wisconsin courts, discuss the upcoming race, and his strategy for victory in spring of 2020.
